OSFP-400G-SR8 OM4 100m Optical Transceiver Module
The 400G OSFP SR8 is designed for data center and cloud computing applications. It uses 850nm center wavelength multimode fiber (MMF) and supports transmission distances up to 100 meters via MTP/MPO-16 connectors. The module features eight independent transmit and receive channels, each with a data rate of 53.125 Gb/s for a total data rate of 400 Gb/s.
The 400G OSFP SR8 follows the IEEE 802.3bs protocol and OSFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA) for 400G Ethernet, data center and cloud networking applications. Its key technical advantages include advanced PAM4 modulation technology, which enables higher data transmission rates within a limited spectrum and improves transmission efficiency. In addition, the module features a highly integrated design with multiple functional units such as optical transmitters, receivers and driver circuits.
