Construction has begun on China’s first production line dedicated to Through‐Glass Via (TGV) co-packaged optics (CPO), aiming to ramp up to an annual output of one million units. The project carries a total investment of ¥200 million and will be rolled out in two phases.

In the first phase, SPVTECH will lease the entire M22 facility within the Phase II transformation industrial park—about 5,000 m²—to install and commission the country’s premier CPO optoelectronic co-packaging line. This line will focus on packaging and producing glass-based optical engine modules. The build-out is slated for completion in May 2025. Once fully operational, the line is projected to manufacture one million high-speed optical communication devices each year.
